Itinerary
Today, you’ll start your journey in Northern Spain in San Sebastián! Arrive, settle in, and begin exploring the local culture and scenery.
Explore the city’s Belle Époque architecture and indulge in its world-renowned cuisine. Relax on the beautiful local beaches.
Drive south, stopping at the La Foz de Lumbier Nature Reserve for a scenic walk, and begin to explore the coast of Olite.
Visit Olite’s stunning medieval castle and wander its historic streets. Enjoy the surrounding vineyards and picturesque town squares.
Travel to Tudela, where you can ride e-bikes along the Via Verde Tarazonica or go on a hike to the nearby town of Tarazona.
Experience the desert-like landscapes of this unique biosphere reserve by car, bike, or on foot. The rock formations are striking!
Explore the multicultural Tudela, a town with landmarks of Muslim, Jewish, and Christian influence. After continuing on to Arnedillo, enjoy the hot springs and picturesque surroundings.
Soak in thermal pools, hike the scenic greenway, or even spot vultures from a nearby viewpoint. There’s plenty to do here!
Today, you head to La Rioja, where you can stop in Logroño to sample tapas on Calle Laurel. Continue on to Santo Domingo de la Calzada to begin exploring this new region, where you’re sure to see many pilgrims walking by.

Explore centuries-old wineries in Haro’s Barrio de la Estación. In Laguardia, appreciate the history of its medieval walls and its panoramic vineyard views.
Head north to discover Bilbao. Although it looks large, you can see much of the center in one day, either by taking a boat trip or renting a bike. You can even ride the Funicular de Artxanda for panoramic city views.
Join a Dutch or English-speaking guide on a cycling tour through Bilbao’s highlights. Visit the iconic Guggenheim Museum and enjoy modern art exhibits.
